The Ford EcoSport continues to evolve, earning its rightful reputation as a top subcompact crossover for families and groups. It's roomy, tech-rich, comes with a suite of driver assist features, and it can tow up to 2,000 pounds. What else can it do? Our Gene Langley Ford Inc has your quick rundown.

Ford Hill Assist

Hill Assist is a standard feature on the Ford EcoSport. With the feature activated, the Ford EcoSport never slips back during a hill descent. The feature keeps the Ford EcoSport braked even after you remove your foot from the brake pedal and transfer it to the accelerator. This advanced computer-driven feature is more conducive to the long term health of the vehicle's transmission.

Two Powerhouse Engines

Two capable, efficient engines power the Ford EcoSport trims:

  • 1.0-liter EcoBoost Turbocharged Direct Injection Engine
  • 2.0-liter Ti-VCT Engine with Direct Injection

They are a three-cylinder and a four-cylinder, respectively, putting out 123 horsepower and 166 horsepower. Thanks to such efficient, torquey engines, the Ford EcoSport boasts an impressive EPA estimated fuel economy of 27/29 mpg city/highway.
